Creating a Safe, Positive & Focused Training Environment

At BF Training Basketball, the safety of our athletes and families is our highest priority. We are also committed to providing a positive, organized, and focused environment where every athlete can learn, develop, and enjoy the game.

To help us maintain this environment, we kindly ask all parents, guardians, siblings, and other spectators to follow the guidelines below during all BF Training Basketball practices and training sessions.

These guidelines are designed to prevent accidents, minimize distractions, and allow our coaches and athletes to make the most of every training session.

🏀 1. Spectators Must Remain in the Designated Area

Parents, guardians, and other spectators must remain in the bleachers or designated spectator area during training sessions.

Please do not stand or sit on the court, sidelines, baseline, team benches, or other training areas unless invited by a BF Training coach.

The basketball court must remain clear and available exclusively for athletes and coaches participating in the session.

👧 2. Younger Siblings & Children

We understand that families may need to bring younger siblings to practices, and they are welcome to attend with their parent or guardian.

However, children who are not participating in the training session must remain with their parent or guardian in the spectator area at all times.

They may not run, play, use basketballs, or enter the court or training area.

This is especially important for their safety. Athletes may be running at high speed, passing basketballs, jumping, or changing direction quickly, and a young child entering the court could be seriously injured in an accidental collision.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising accompanying children at all times.

🔇 3. Please Keep Noise to a Minimum

We ask spectators to help us maintain a focused training environment.

Please:

• Keep conversations at a reasonable volume.

• Place phones on silent or vibrate mode.

• Take phone calls outside the gym whenever possible.

• Avoid shouting instructions to athletes from the bleachers.

Coaches need to be able to communicate clearly with athletes throughout the session.

🏀 4. Please Allow the Coaches to Coach

We appreciate the support and enthusiasm of our BF families.

During training, however, all basketball instruction should come from the BF Training coaching staff.

Please avoid coaching, correcting, or giving basketball instructions to your child from the spectator area.

Multiple instructions coming from different directions can confuse athletes and interfere with the learning process.

After practice, parents are always welcome to speak with our coaching staff when appropriate.

🚫 5. Training Equipment & Court Access

Basketballs, cones, hoops, training equipment, scoreboards, and other gym equipment should only be used by athletes and coaches participating in the session.

Spectators and siblings should not use or move BF Training or facility equipment without permission.

🤝 6. Respect • Stay Positive • Teamwork

Our three core values apply not only to our athletes, but to our entire BF Training community:

RESPECT
Respect coaches, athletes, officials, other families, and the facility.

STAY POSITIVE
Encourage athletes and help us create an environment where mistakes are part of learning.

TEAMWORK
Parents, athletes, and coaches all play an important role in creating a great experience.

Negative comments, inappropriate language, arguments, or disrespectful behavior toward athletes, coaches, officials, or other families are not appropriate at BF Training activities.

🛡️ 7. Safety Comes First

If a coach or BF Training staff member identifies an unsafe situation, spectators are expected to follow the staff member's instructions immediately.

BF Training staff may ask a child or spectator to leave the court, training area, or another restricted area when necessary to maintain safety and proper operation of the session.

Repeated failure to follow these guidelines may result in the parent or spectator being asked to remain outside the gym during future training sessions.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read and understand the BF Training Basketball Parent & Spectator Guidelines.

I agree to follow these guidelines and understand that they have been established to:

I also understand that I am responsible for ensuring that any children or guests attending BF Training activities with me follow these guidelines.
